Rainy days like this remind me of 80’s music. Mostly because all I ever did on excessively rainy weekends was play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
This song actually holds a special place in my heart. Not because of a woman, but because it help my trivia team win our last contest (which was whitewater rafting, hello summer!). It was in the category two hit wonders and the clue was “This Australian band scored their second hit with “I’ve Been in Love Before” but never had a hit after. It must have been something they said”. At first I put down Mr. Mister but then I went through the deep “I Love the 80’s” memories and finally at the last second placed my finger upon Cutting Crew. And they say you don’t learn anything from television.
Holy shit, this is the funnest music video I have ever seen. Though with a name like the Miami Sound Machine what would you expect.
